Animal blessings held at parishes

Several parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville held blessing of the animals prayer services on Oct. 4, the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. Parishes that held services included: St. Francis Xavier Church in Mt. Washington, Ky.; St. Christopher Church in Radcliff, Ky.; St. James Church, 1826 Edenside Avenue; St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 11501 Maple Way; and Holy Family Church, 3926 Poplar Level Road.
